Laguna Seca Preview: James Pesek and Jade Buford Optimistic for a Strong Finish at Laguna!

PF Racing is heading to the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this Saturday for the penultimate event of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (IMPC).

James Pesek and Jade Buford will co-drive the #40 Ford Mustang for this 2-hour race. The duo is no stranger to this California track as they participated in an 8-hour endurance race earlier this season. The PF Racing outfit established themselves as one of the top team during that race, winning in the GT4 class and posting the fastest lap time of the race.

Jade Buford wants to take advantage of this momentum during Saturday’s WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca 120; “we won there a few months ago with our sister car, so our pink stallion should be as strong, I have great hopes and high expectations!”

“I think we should have our best finish this season at Laguna. The guys at PF Racing have been working very hard to give us a strong Ford Mustang,” concluded the Nashville resident.

James Pesek echoed Jade’s thoughts; “It’s a great track that flows very well. It doesn’t have long straights so we should be strong there as we strive on shorter tracks.”

The race will be broadcast live on IMSA TV starting at 3:05 PT (5:05 ET) on Saturday, September 14.
