Unfinished Business for PF Racing at Road Atlanta

PF Racing is back at Road Atlanta with one goal in mind: score a first podium finish this Friday during the Forx Factory 120. It was a close one last time the Harrisonville outfit was in Atlanta as they finished P8 during the 4-hour race but ran at the front of the field for a while.

At Mid-Ohio, the team came short of a podium and had to settle for a 4th place finish. The goal at Road Atlanta is simple: score a first podium finish during a regular IMSA season. PF Racing already managed to climb on the podium during the Sebring Encore last year, a feat they would also like to repeat during the season finale in Florida.

“Road Atlanta is a track that suits me,” said James Pesek, co-driver of the #40 PF Racing Ford Mustang. “We’ve had a lot of track time here, so I feel confident that we will achieve our goal this weekend.”

“I hope we can pick up where we left off,” indicated driver Chad McCumbee. “We have great momentum from our past events; hopefully, it will help us score a podium this Friday.”

The Fox Factory 120 will start at 3:35 pm ET on Friday, October 16. You can watch live on NBCSN Sports Gold Tack Pass.
